Welcome to our little community I know what it's like to try to find a forum like this (not easy!) and I hope that you really enjoy it. Out of curiosity, how did you hear about the blog? NZ as in New Zealand? Very cool!

Thanks!
Yes I am currently living in New Zealand. (it's sort of a long story) Nutshell version: I was actually born in Canada. We moved here to be near my Mum's family when I was six. Now, after 14 years here we are planning on moving back to Canada as that is where we believe God is leading, and also to be near my Grandparents and Dad's other relatives. We're not sure when yet, but we are trusting God to reveal His plan in His perfect timing!
Honestly, I can't remember how I heard about the blog. I think I clicked on a link on some other blog, but I don't remember which one it was! I'm just glad to have found it! I'm sure it will be really encouraging to discuss things with other Christian young women.

I've heard that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on earth, but it has to be exciting to consider moving to a completely different continent to be near family. How do you feel about it? The farthest I've moved in my memory is across a tiny town

New Zealand is beautiful!!! We live 15 minutes from the mountain and from the beach. One day we did a bit of climbing and then went for a swim! In that way, we have been really blessed to live here! However, there have been downsides, such as I personally do not know anyone my age who shares the same convictions that I do. That's why I am so grateful that I came across this forum.
Yeah, I am really excited to be going home to Canada after so long away. I am also excited to see what God has planned for us when we get there! There are going to be numerous new oppourtunities!!! It is very exciting. Lots of people (ie. non-Christians) don't really understand why we are planning on leaving, I mean when we look at it from the world's point of view it is rather crazy. We have a beautiful house in a beautiful country, my Dad and my brother both have excellent jobs etc etc. But, we don't look at it that way. We have been blessed here, but know we believe God is calling us to go back to Canada, so that is where we need to be heading.

I'm so proud of your family for following the Lord's guidance, even when the world thinks you're crazy! Isn't that exactly what Abraham did? He had to feel a lot like you guys do

Thank you! Yes, you're right, Abraham did follow God's instructions to move to a new land. Also, Noah followed God's directions too, even when the world thought he was crazy.
Sometimes I get impatient and a bit annoyed, because we don't know when we're going and it feels like it is taking a long time.
BUT! God is faithful!!!! His word is so full of wonderful and encouraging verses, I know that He is using this time to teach me more about Him and His word, and draw me closer to Himself. A verse that has really been helping me these past few days is Psalm 37:7 "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him." and then following that, Psalm 40:1 "I waited patiently for the Lord and He inclined unto me and heard my cry."
