Just watched the book trailer. Wow! I think I need to read that book! I'll have to keep an eye out for it in the Christian bookshop here or when we get to Canada. I'd be really interested to read your review of it.
Right now I'm currently reading Passion and Purity by Elisabeth Elliot. I love how she focuses so much on one's personal relationship with the Lord rather than too much on boy-girl relationships. I've read several of her other books too and am always challenged and encouraged by them. I especially enjoyed The Shadow of the Almighty which I read late in 2010. I want to read it again, but I have sooooo many books on the go right now, I need to try and finish a few first!

I absolutely loved P&P and want to read many more of Elliot's books.

I have a question for everyone, which books would you say have most influenced your life?

I have a question for everyone, which books would you say have most influenced your life? Oooh, that's a toughie! One that would be at the top of my list is Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. That book lays out such a clear, common sense, and extremely wise examination of what our faith is all about and why we can believe it that it inspired me with more hope and security than ever before! Lewis is an absolutely amazing "amateur theologian" and writer.

I think I started reading Mere Christianity at one time, but never finished it. Yet another book to add to my pile!
